I''m experiencing a strange issue on my DP-03SD,
when use the onboard reverb on a track and stop playback the reverb reflection continue like normal but at the end I ear a ripetitive zzzzzzzzz like if it repeats rapidly the last part of the audio track played and stops after 4-5 seconds, is very annoing, hope is not a faulty unit.
I have tried to reset the unit by menu feature, re-charged the firmware but nothing,
do You know if is there an hard reset for this model?

You can listen the wav file of example here: https://filetransfer.io/data-package/QYsJh7LJ#link

And here another example: https://filetransfer.io/data-package/HUFU7lNQ#link

It happens only on tracks with audio recorded, not when record then in live.

My poor ears couldn't hear any zzzzzz or other unusual sound(s). These files sound like normal reverb tails to me.

Did not hear anything unusual. Also, the waveform looks clean in Reaper.

Hello!
The problem is not an hum or interference but a fast repetition of a part of sound in the end of audio, if You listen with attention can ear a innatural fast repetition until the reverb reflection ends, It doesn't sounds like a natural reverb reflection (like before) but like an electronic repetition of a part of sound. I have amplified the part that I'm talking of and You can see the picture too.

The reverb effect works fine when used "live" before to record, but when a track in in playback,
when press STOP button produces this issue never heard before on my DP-03.

That's much better. I can hear it now. This does not sound like the reverb tail itself, but the crackling (sizzle) is breaking up the reverb tail making it sound like bad reverb - it's not, IMO. I cannot comment on the the source of your noise yet, it could be any one of several. Possibly a bad line cord.

It's time to begin a process of elimination with your hardware/software pieces. Remove each from the recording/playback chain one at a time, then replacing it before removing the next in order to narrow this down. Might just be a software setting.

spantini,
this is recorded only with a microphone and the Tascam DP-03SD using the internal reverb effect not other

UPDATE
I have done some experiments to understand if this issue was applied during playback then the mastering and It's Yes, the "noise" is generated too when the music ends and I ear the electronic sound for around 3-4 seconds after the music ends when I create the master, then is recorded to the end of the master file.
This happens only when I use the internal reverb, then I think the DSP chip or other
component may be compromised.

I'd like to know if someone has the same "problem" on DP-03SD.
