TASCAM 688 Capstan Flywheel Soldering Points

Hi
I was cleaning, and the wires came off. not sure which order they go back. can anyone help?
White, red black and brown wires.. the brown one is still connected

If you are facing the motor from the metal cap side (not the pulley side), the order of the wires is black, red, white, brown.

thanks, there seems to be some short wires soldered on the pcb, should i remove these?

Those wires are most likely where the wires were originally connected, so yes, they can be removed.
