Good morning! I borrowed a Tascam DR-05 recorder, and when I record, the sound seems to be "underwater." Has anyone else had this problem? Thank you very much!

1.What do you mean when you say it sounds "underwater"?
2. What are you trying to record?
3. How are you going about capturing what you're trying to record (device settings, controls and meter levels, placement, environment, etc)?
4. What help/advice has the owner provided you that hasn't solved the problem?
