I am sitting reading a bit about the encoders to the left side like pan, but i just do not get it.
Say i have analog sound coming in on channel 1 and 2, how do i pan them out to right and left?
"From a synth or other computer."
Right now i just hear mono coming out, so i guess the encoders "fader setting?" is in middle 64?
I pressed pan and tried to move fader of the channel, but i can't see anything coming changing.
Anyone how do i change channel pan "from the FW1884"?
"Also i can not see HOST midimessage for pan to the FW1884, just FW1884 to host but never get any messages because i don't know howto activate "select" the encoder to really change pan".
I guess the midimessages is in common with other devices like the 1084, so if anyone would like to learn howto make a CTRL surface for their TASCAM product "in Javascript" or help me implement the "messages" i can explain howto.
Maybe someone could explain howto decipher the Tascam manual....
