So I recently got a tascam porta 02 MKII and I'm already running into a bunch of problems.
When I tried to play a pre-recorded tape on it all I could hear was a low growl. This also happened when I tried to play back stuff I recorded. I tested both line out and phones out and there wasn't a difference.
What's weird is when I put that tape in another player it sounded fine.
The pots are also pretty dirty so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna need to take it apart to get those clean.
