Quite likely. As you know, Chet was very busy as a session player, soloist and especially - producer.

Built from scratch? My hat is off to you, sir. Then I put it back on just so I can take it off again.

Yes, built from scratch, own design, electronics and console. I still own it, but haven't used it since I have my DM4800.
I actually built two identical boards, with friends who also own a studio. Had them soldering for a few hours...
