Hi all,

Brand new at this so any help is much appreciated. Here's what I am trying to do:

Using a DP-24sd to connect everything.

Roland TD25 connected via USB/MIDI to mac laptop running ezdrummer. Laptop audio out connected into INPUT A via 1/8" to 1/4" cable.

Tascam GB10 connected into INPUT B via 1/8" to 1/4" cable.

iPhone running metronome app connected to INPUT C via 1/8" to 1/4" cable

All cables are 1/8" male to 1/4" male TRS stereo audio cables.

Headphones plugged into the headphone port.

It "works" and I have sounds coming through everything, but except for the GB10, nothing sounds correct. The iPhone volume on the metronome is barely audible and certainly can't be heard when playing over it.

The drum sounds from the laptop are also off - for example, the bass drum can't be heard at all.

If I play a YouTube video just to test - again the sounds are just not right. For example, if I play Hotel California I can hear the music, but not the singing.

Individually, not connected to the 24, all sounds great. Together, not so much.

I feel like the answer is right in front of me, but the lingo and terminology escapes me. Ideas?

Thanks

Figured it out. Feel like an idiot.... this is the whole balanced / unbalanced signal problem. I need to switch cables to split the signal and use 2 inputs (one r, one l) per device.
