Ok, just bought a Tascam 2400 and asking if my sd cards from my DP24sd will convert over? I did get a wav file to play on a song but it won't unpack the rest of the tracks and lay them out as recorded. Is this not possible? The manual doesn't confirm or deny.

Can’t speak for a Modelxx (or even a 2400)…but it’s likely to have its’ own firmware/oper’g system, different from the DP’s.

But my O/G DP-32 (made in 2014!😲) has extensive track import/export capabilities via AudioDepot; I suspect your 2400’s recording section does too.
If you attempt to put yr DP card into your 2400 & it won’t read it, you can always use that.

It’s an extra step - but that is how it was designed to work…

Short answer: "no" 99% of the time.

Why: The DP-24/32/SD creates proprietary .wav files (".zz") that have to be assembled by the Export function before they can be imported to any of the Model series mixers.
