Using Sends of Tascam DP24 for 3 individual headphone mixes?

Hi,

I was wondering if the effects sends of the DP24 can be used to create individual headphone mixes? I am in a three piece band that records live, and we often would like " a little more me." Could I use the main headphone out for one headphone mix, while using the two effect sends for two separate individual mixes?

Any other ideas to achieve what I want?

The sends can be used to make mono mixes for any purpose, including monitoring.

Thanks mjk. Just to be clear. When recording, if I use the 2 external effects sends, do they need to return to the tascam? Because if I use them as monitor outputs, I don't plan on having a signal return.

The Sends do not get returned to your DP-24.

Any other ideas to achieve what I want?

In the Tips Stickies you'll find a post that discusses a way to create a cue system. I think it's in the Production Tips post on using the stereo bus.

You will however, need some kind of amplifier for those monitor mixes. You could use a stereo amplifier in a dual-mono configuration.
