I was gifted an old 644 and want to use it as a monitor mixer in my pieced together home studio. I'm trying to insert tracks coming from the outputs of my digital interfaces to direct monitor and use all of the separate sends and outputs of the 644 to create as many individual mixes as possible that can be customized to each person. ie: Kick to channel 1, snare 2, bass 5, guitar 6, vox 8 etc. then use different output options to let everyone create their own mix. I was hoping the Aux 1, Aux 2 and Dual outs could produce separate mixes and the main headphone one of its own too? Is this possible? So far just trying to get control of individual tracks like a normal mixer (headphone out) has even proven daunting (scene 01? Scene 10?). No need to use it as a recorder, just mixer/monitor out. Any advice would be most appreciated and probably help me keep any of the little remaining hair I have left on my head haha.
