Yes....
@Phil Tipping is correct. Check out both manuals. The DP03 series is an incredible smaller scale MTR, but still packed with all the features of its bigger brothers. The DP03 just doesn't have 16 tracks... 24 tracks.. etc..
DP03..... CD Burner.
DP03-SD.... SD Card instead of CD Burner.
The thing I love about the Portastudio series from Tascam is the simplicity. You have a quick moment, a spark of something. You absolutely have drop everything you're doing and lay down a basic track/melody so you won't forget it. Right then... Right there... NOW...
I have recorded myself using a "click track" to get the timing/tempo correct.
Acoustic guitar (rhythm)
Bass guitar (bass)
Keyboards (rhythm - but yet adding a 7th chord right at the turnaround).
Drums - my Alesis Nitro Mesh electronic drum set, recorded straight DI'd into the Tascam.
*Click Track -- deleted*
Lead guitar (played through a Boss Katana Artist with a Line-Out cable).
There are so many things you can do with a small Tascam MTR, and can get amazing sound quality as well!
