DP-24SD
Hi all,

Fairly new to the DP-24SD and recording in general and trying to get the hang of compression and reverb usage. I'm trying to use the effects send to route an already-recorded track through guitar pedals reamp-style, but no matter what I seem to do I get an aggravating phase effect between the return signal and the original track whenever any amount of dry signal is going through my effects loop. I assume this has to do with the latency of the console's external send and return. I've messed around with bounce and multi-track mode and just don't know what to do at this point. Help much appreciated.

Yes. You're using what would normally be an insert effect, as a send effect. You have to use only the return, and adjust the wet/dry mix in the device itself. Use the PRE send, and put the track fader down. Only monitor and use the track with the recorded effect.
