DP24sd transferring to iPad pro

Hello all,

I've done some searching and can't seem to find any info that addresses this specific questions. Forgive me if it's been covered before.

I've recently purchased a dp24sd and would like to transfer tracks from it to my ipad pro. Specifically to manipulate and mix in garageband. Is this a possibility? I know transferring to a pc or mac with an SD slot would be best, but I'm wondering if it's possible to get the tracks onto the ipad.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Paul. The first question to to ask is:

Can you transfer any other type of file to your iPad? If you can't transfer files to your iPad, then you have to figure that part out first. I assume a cloud based download would work.

If you do know how to transfer files to your iPad, then the answer is yes, you can transfer your tracks to it.

You can export whatever tracks you want from a DP machine - that is very easy:

After that, what you do with the files on your iPad would have to do with whatever software you are using, and that would reside in the purview of that realm.

Don't know much about iPads, apart from the fact that they have limited i/o ports! A couple of google searches showed up this for connecting an sd-card, and this for connecting via usb.
