My DR-40X fails to respond to buttons from time to time. It happens quite often and usually takes 10-20 minutes until it happens. When it occurs the screen freezes, some buttons still turn the backlight on, but nothing can be done anymore. The system somehow seems to be still working, as for example it still reacts on removing the sd card, but buttons are all dead. Only solution i found is removing batteries and restart. Not a good thing. If there is no fix for this i will send the device back to my dealer.
I am on firmware 1.01.0032.
