Hi all,

Just had my first error, I was just now recording and the CRT/FFT(?) Input Readout froze, I thought hello what's this, few moments later I got "I/O Error" or similar then "Write Failed" .
I acknowledged the Errors and now I'm frozen. Tried to rewind and got "File Error" .

edit/ Cleared the Errors and it took an age to switch off!!

Card Problem?

edit/

I removed the SD card and stuck it into my PC and cleared out the folders. Re-booted the Machine and it appears to be OK. Lost some stuff but wtf? Lesson Learned. BACKUP ALL YOUR WORK!!

Assuming you have plenty of unused space, the SD card that gave you the file error message may have one or more marginal sectors that your DP-24SD likely is going to find again at some randomly inopportune time.

When that happens to you the next time, you might want to look in the Equipment Tips stickey for a much less drastic solution (assuming you're using a TASCAM tested SD card). If it's not a TASCAM tested card, you must like to live dangerously.:)
