How adjust master level when mixing down?

Here's a problem I have with the dr-40. Say I record 4 channels, and 1 channel has a low level for some reason. When I mixdown, I have to lower the levels of the 3 other channels to the lowest channel level. Otherwise I can not mix in this low-level channel properly. So when I mixdown the level is rather low. Is there a way to boost the level of the master, i.e some kind of master level?

Anyone know if this can be done? In short, when I mixdown 4 tracks, I want to boost the level of the mixdowned track.
