Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help? The import pots on my DP24SD are crackly, at least some of them. The sliders are fine.
Does anyone know what to do? I'm a bit scared to open it. I checked the forums and couldn't find any questions like this before.

Have no fear - they are just dirty. Working them back and forth may help clean them up. But the Forum categorically recommends cleaning them with Deoxit spray.

To supplement what -mjk- said, I was always taught to: "Power off, cycle all knobs L - R to extremes 5 or 6 times; once per month". I've found that especially helpful on knobs which you typically never move from the preferred position, they're quiet through the whole range (just in case you ever do need to tweak it).

Hello,
Thanks very much. I’ll give it a go later.

Not sure where you are but here in Australia Deoxit is crazy expensive, like $45 a can. You can use a local product just make sure it's a lubricating contact cleaner .
