Introduction.

Hi- newbie here, and I hope I'm posting this in the right place! Just got a Tascm DP-03 and looking forward to using it. I have numerous recording projects under my belt, but they've all been on tape. I've tried the DAW stuff- Protools (I was told by the store it was an 'easy learning curve'......uh.....if you're an engineer....), GarageBand....but I'm not a computer guy so I want real simplicity, which brings me to the Tascam DP-03. It seems to resemble the 4-track cassette recorders, with the ability to end up with my songs on CD. When I fired this unit up and listened to the demo, I was unable to pan either way- am I missing something? Same thing when I recorded my own tracks. Thanks!
