Issue with dr40 & Sennheiser EW 112-P G3 E-X Wireless Lavalier Microphone System

Hi, can someone tell me where I am going wrong. I am trying to use the dr40 with a set of wireless sennheiser mic. I have set the dr40 to mic and changed recording source to ext 1/2. There is absolutely nothing coming in. Any suggestions? Thanks
