Hello,
This is my first time here and my first go with any kind of real recording equipment. I am trying to record a podcast and I'm running into a bit of an issue. What I'm using is as follows:
Tascam US 4x4
2 Tascam TM-80 mics in IN1 and IN2
2 Tascam TH-02 Headphones
Windows 10 on Microsoft Surface Pro 4
Current Tascam driver
My issue is that when the unit is not connected to my computer via USB, I can hear both microphones in stereo in my headphones. The second I plug the USB cable into my computer, without any software of any kind open, I can barely hear the IN1 in my right headphone and I can barely hear the IN2 in my left headphone. Unplugging the USB changes it back to normal. I have tried selecting/deselecting and changing from stereo to mono and back all the different options on the Tascam settings panel and nothing changes. I have no clue what else to do.
Thanks so much in advance.
