Tascam DR40
We've recently started filming podcasts for clients. I'm speaking to one client that may want as many as 4-5 people on the podcast at once. I would like to find out if there is a Tascam product that will do the following:

Allow us to connect up to 5 SM58 mics?
Allow us to record multi-track onto and SD card and will also allow me to adjust the volume of each track individually in post?
Allow us to send a backup of each individual track to a laptop or another audio recorder so that we have redundancy?

I was looking at the DP-24 as it seems like it could work for us. However, I'm not sure if I can output all the tracks individually so that our backup audio isn't just a stereo mix. Would the DP-24 work for what I need it to do?

Also, does the DP-24 add enough gain so that I would not need to invest in Cloudlifters (or something similar)?

Edit: After I posted, I just saw that the Model 12 is another option. Can anyone let me know if this would work even better than the DP-24?
