Model 24 Released

It looks like Alto Music got a jump on other US dealers.

If anyone on this board tries one, I'd be interested in hearing your experience. I plan on waiting at least 6 months in case Tascam decides to update their DP line.

It does nothing I need. No automation - I already have a console with no automation (Soundcraft Ghost), and everything I do inside the DP-32 remains in the digital domain. No track routing is a deal-breaker.

Tascam, what we want is a new 48 track Portastudio with:

24b/high sample rates
100mm motorized faders
Mix automation
Updated dynamics
Updated internal FX
HDMI output
USB audio interface
At least 4 sends

Yep, those are some features that I would love to see in a new Porta. As currently implemented, the 24 misses the mark for me as a true "upgrade".
