New to this forum. After searching for a bit, I'm a little confused about what the latest drivers and OSX compatibility are for my DM3200 and the IF/FW card. I teach an audio production class in a high school. My students are using OS 10.9.5 and Logic Pro X with laptops. However, my Tascam DM3200 in the main studio is running OS 10.6.8 on Logic Pro 9. I wish to have the studio updated to be closer to what my kids are using. I can't update the studio to Logic Pro X without moving to OS 10.9. The most current drivers for the Firewire card that I see posted are beta drivers from one year ago. Am I okay moving to 10.9.5 with my DM3200 and Firewire interface? I have hesitated to make any changes since it often takes me a couple of weeks to fix issues and I fear being shut down in the studio if I upgrade. The end of the school year is the only time that I entertain updates. Thank you all for any assistance and clarification you can give me.
