New 2488 MKll User

Just picked up a well cared for unit yesterday for 200 bucks. Ill be using Drumkit From Hell for my drums, and running an Atomic Ampli-Firebox direct for my guitar tones along with a couple of misc assisting pedals. Bass will be run direct also.

Im hoping to get a produced sound somewhere in the ballpark of Exodus' Tempo Of The Damned album.
Is that possible with this unit?

Hello. I also have a 2488 MII. I bought mine new in the box back in 2008, but just this week was finally able to get it out of storage. Still do not have my studio room built due to financial reasons that came up many many years ago.

Anyway, I am trying to find out what firmware version or software version these machines should have. I just joined this forum today in search of the MK II firmware update. Or am trying to find out if there ever was one, or if the NEO update I have seen online can be used for these?

Anyway, can I ask you what your machine shows for version number and build? Mine shows version 1.00 build 0063.
