This may be extremely obvious to you guys who have been using your DM consoles awhile now but I have to ask: How do you setup direct monitoring?

To be precise, on my previous Focusrite rack interface, I could monitor audio being routed through the hardware inputs as well as hear recorded playback from within my DAW simply by enabling “Low Latency Monitoring” and not monitoring individual tracks via “I” or “R” in ProTools or in Cubase simply not enabling monitoring on any tracks then using the Focusrite mixer to adjust playback levels. This was very convenient because it allowed 100% zero latency monitoring and it sounded good.

Currently I run 64 samples in the DM’s audio buffering settings in Normal mode and it seems stable but there is still just a hint of latency audible and more so when I A/B audio coming straight off the board. I’d like to remedy this issue.

Any ideas??
