DP03 Tascam 8 track recor
Hi I am new to this , just got it a DP03. Simple question I think. I can't find the answer in the user manual. I mixed down my track, I mastered it. I burned it to CD. Fine, but now I am unhappy with some aspects of the mix. I wanted to take another crack at it. I loaded the track went back into Mixdown mode and followed the same steps. and now the mix isn't locked, not the new mix or the first attempt. And no matter what I do, it is now just mix it on the fly, no way to finalize it or record the end result to CD. Is That it? You get One shot? I didn't "protect it" Is that it? It can't be. Once you complete the Process once you can't do it again?

Check the manual pg 36-UN/REDO..
I have a DP-008ex which has the same function-use it regularly to go back into mixdown from mastering mode and change the mix...make sure to disable auto shutdown and leave it on as long as you're using it or the history the UN/REDO uses gets erased..
