Hello,
My first recording experience was on a Tascam 4 track I bought in 1997. It was whatever the entry level model was at the time. It literally changed my life as I went from being a guitar player to being a song writer. My Zoom 505 Guitar Multi-effect also contributed to the transition as it gave me lots of sounds to mix together.
Ten years ago I bought a Fostex 8 track digital portastudio to get back into recording after a long absence. It had some reliability problems so I started looking at Tascams again. In 2016 during Sweetwater's Black Friday sale, I picked up a Tascam DP-24SD. I did some recording last summer, and I'm ready to do some more this spring.
I mostly play retro-70s style prog rock. Guitars, synths, and drums.
Tony
