Recording on Tracks 13 - 24 on 24SD

Hello.

I have figure out a lot of this tricky little bastard. But I am stuck on two things:

1.) How can you record on tracks 13 - 24? There's only 8 inputs so .... not sure

2.) Is there a way to clone a track to a target track of 13 - 24? I have tried to clone track 5, but the target track goes no higher than 12

Welcome.

1. Inputs are Assigned in pairs to the stereo tracks, and only two adjacent inputs can be assigned to a pair (e.g. A/A, A/B, etc.). You can't assign A/G, for example to a stereo track.

2. No. you can only clone mono - mono and stereo - stereo. You can Export/Import two different mono tracks to a stereo pair - explained in the Production Tips sticky post "USE ONE FADER TO CONTROL TWO MONO TRACKS"

Most simply put: Any of the 8 inputs can be routed to any of the 24 tracks.
