TASCAM DP-32SD
I am moving to a new city in about six weeks and would like to pack up my music studio, including my Tascam DP 32 SD, now (so I can get my house listed, staged, and sold). Does anyone know whether I risk losing data if I unplug the unit and store it in a climate controlled environment? Would it be safer to leave the SD card inserted in the unit while it's unplugged and stored? I have lots of material on the card. I've backed it up, but would rather not risk losing anything and having to reload the data if at all possible. Many thanks!

Respectfully, I don't understand your concern. There is nothing to worry about. Leave the card in. Or - take it out and put it in a safe place. Either way - you've backed up the song data. I'd be more concerned with the handling of the DP itself.

Just be careful and you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Thank you for the response, and for confirming that there is no need for concern. As for the unit, I have a hardshell case with foam interior to store it in, so it will be safe.
