Hey all,
just curious if anyone else has noticed a stereo imaging contrast with the Aux-1/2 monitoring verses the Stereo Bus monitoring. Sometimes, when I've switched between the two to monitor what my clients are hearing, I feel (and hear) that the Aux-1/2 signal has a wider stereo image. So much so that I prefer monitoring from it lately and then bouncing my mixes through it to another 2-track. I've checked a lot of settings pertaining to the stereo bus and cannot find anything that jumps out at me that would seem to cause any issues. I've checked the phase on the send of the aux channel from my monitoring channel to ensure it's not flipped, apart from that I can see many reasons why aux 1/2 would sound worse than the stereo bus, but for the life of me, can't come up with any reason why the stereo bus would sound worse than the aux-1/2 signal. Anything you all think I could be possibly overlooking in the settings? Thanks in advance.
