I have a problem with my "Tascam CD-A500".
I wanted to record from the record player and use an output from the amplifier to the "Line-IN" socket on the "Tascam".
There is a "line-in" socket on the outside of the back and I can connect whatever I want, but no signal comes in? Some devices have a switch (e.g. AKAI GX75) but it doesn't exist?
Recording CDs onto the cassette drive works fine.
