Hi,
I'm not sure if my problem is part of line out design in interfaces or a hardware issue with my TASCAM US16x08 audio interface.
My line outs are not sounding FULL. I tried connecting my monitor speakers, headphones, BOSE home theatre system, etc to both my HEADPHONE out and my LINE outs behind. The HEADPHONE out gave in ideal, stereo, full frequency response. Whereas, all my line outs did not sound right at all. My woofers dint even produce much sound, on my headphones I could not get any lows, and overall poor quality sound. Its not a stereo-mono loss for sure.
Could someone please share insights on this?
I noticed something similar in a focsurite interface too, with headphones. Thats what made me think it is an intended design thing.
