I have had the dm3200 for 10 years now but never used the reverb and delay in it... is it any good?
The reason why I ask is I can buy a tc electronic reverb 4000 very cheap. And I want to start mixing a little bit out of the box.
How does the tc works compair to plugins reverbs and how does it compair to hardware units?

Sorry for bad English...
Cheers Dan

I haven't tried all of the effects available in the DM mixers, but of those I have, I think of they're all pretty decent. As for the TC Electronics reverb, I think it's exceptionally good!

I've forced myself to occasionally try/use the internal effects. I've always preferred my semi-pro outboard gear (Alesis Q20, Wedge, Midi-verb 4, etc) over the internal TC Reverbs, however. I think they would be okay for live use, but I wouldn't want to use them for recording. To my ears they lack clarity, you can improve them by returning them through a channel that has EQ and making some adjustments. I have actually used the onboard delays with success on occasion.
