Almost every feature seems odd, including the super small display.

At least I'm happy to see they went back on their word and are back in the mixer business. They really need to step up and do a next generation DM series.

Hey, kids... long time, no see.

Tascam should NOT re-enter the console business. With competing products like the PreSonus tudioLive boards available, and a Midas M32 selling for $4K, Tascam would have to build a better-quality DM4800 and sell it for <$2,000 street to gain any traction.

BTW, I'm semi retired now, playing in a couple of bands and puttering around my house. S'alright!

With all the problems Ive read about that folks are having with StudioLive 3 hardware, Tascam has nothing to worry about. They should keep on doing what they do so well.
