When you create a new song on the DP-32 (presume DP-24 is same), the mixer and FX settings are retained from the currently loaded song. This can be confusing, especially for new owners (like me) with tracks having unexpected FX or incorrect panning etc. e.g. from the tutorial song.
So if you want to start with a clean slate, go through all mixer & effect settings for each track/input and reset things to zero. Save this as a new song called e.g. !Reset (the leading ! guarantees it stays at the top of the song list). Now, whenever you want to start a new song, load the !Reset song first, then create your song.
If you have a few SD cards for recording, you can use a computer to copy this song to them all. Could also create other variations of this file to start with your preferred non-zero settings, e.g. all tracks with Send-1 level set to 127, etc.
