Track distortion

when I went to remix a song, I got a complete distortion on one of the previously recorded tracks.(#2) all other tracks were fine. it almost sounded like out of tune guitar with a flutter switch

I "cloned back" the track from another--(#11 to #2) still distortion

I turned off guitar effect (amp) same distortion

panning L/R works, but panned all the way left or right still leaves a "stereo" effect (audio in the opposition channel)

Track #2 sounds OK on all other previously recorded songs

Turn both Sends to off on the track in question and see if it sounds normal after that.

thanks for the reply---I found the answer---after reviewing some training videos I must have inadvertently left the "delay" on in the Effects. all is well, now.
