The problem began while I was using the US-1800 for it's intended procedure - gaming communication...
The light went off (green LED still active) and the sound cut. When I turn it off and on the orange LED will come back on but won't activate, it will then go out after 5-10 seconds. *(it's about 5 years old at this point)
I've tried the obvious turning off and on, changing the cable, changing the USB port.
I've also been getting strange distorted noises through the headphones very occasionally (they don't affect recording just get a little annoying).
