Hey it's hard to explain but here it goes.
I have an US 2x2 audio interface. It has a two combo xlr and jack inputs and mic/line instr switch.
Here is the problem, i mostly used then jack input in instr mode to play and record guitar. First the jack in input 1 started making problems even tho xlr input was fine. Ok no problem i switched to input 2. Now the input 2 gave out if i connect the jack to input 2 in instr setting the signal dies after few seconds, if i switch in to line the signal works but its noisy as hell. I tried cleaning inputs with contact cleaner hoping its something inside that messing the contact in jack part but its didn"t help. Did someone had this problem before, is it some software bugs or just the card is giving up.?
