US-366 standalone mode?

Hi. I'm interested in making a purchase of one of these units but its not clear whether the us-366 can be used in a standalone mode without USB connection.

I'm particularly interested in whether the preamp ins and digital ins can still route to the balanced outputs regardless of whether USB is connected? is this possible?

Not standalone. This is the only cons cause I've got one and I think great value for its price.
It would be great news if Tascam developed new firmware to solve this.
Does anybody knows about that?
