Vocals at a different speed than beat when importing into DAW

I am using Sony Acid as a DAW and when i place the beat on track one, it plays at the correct speed. I grabbed the beat from the MUSIC folder out of my tascam DP-24SD . When I grab one of the vocal tracks from that SAME folder and place it in track 2, the vocal is slower than the beat . If I take another vocal track and place it on track 3 , that one plays FASTER than the beat !@b How do I sync all the vocal tracks to the beat ? They all came out of the same MUSIC folder out of the 24sd, so I thought they would all sync properly when they went into the DAW.... thanks for any help !!

The correct way to transfer track files is via the Export process (under Menu, AudioDepot), then copy the files from the AudioDepot folder. If you take them directly from the MUSIC folder, they won't necessarily line up timewise.
