Volume levels between in-out points

Hello. New to the forum and i want to ask something that i ve been wondering for years...

Is there a way to increase/decrease, the volume level of a selected section of a track on 2488neo? I mean a track s section selected using the in-out points? Very - very useful to lower the volume of a single loud note or chord.
As i ve said before, i ve been wondering for ages about this and i cannot find a way to do it except than moving the selected section to a new track and adjust the volume there. Or export the track to a computer.
