dp-32SD - AW4416
I just purchased the DP-32SD - for those who are familiar with the Yamaha AW4416 workstation, you know that the mix down and fader and all adjustments can be recorded. Then you just hit play on your final.

What technic do you use on the DP-32SD to record all you adjustments? Is the only way to do this using the bounce feature?

Missing my auto mix mode.

Sadly, there is no automation feature on the dp series. The previous 2488 series has a form of automation called mixer scenes with up to 99 per song.

Steven, are you asking:
(a) How to create a stereo master recording; or
(b) How to memorialize the mixdown settings and final fade?

If "a" set your faders, EQ, effects, in/out points, etc. in "Multitrack" mode, then enter "Mixdown/Master" mode, press "Play" to check/adjust the mix settings and practice the fade out, and "Record" to create the stereo master. (You will need to manually fade using the stereo master fader.)

If "b", Since the DP-xx lacks automation you may benefit from doing what we did in the good old days: create standardized track sheets to record each song's settings in as much detail as you may desire.
