Hi! Some months ago I had a problem with my DM4800 and I change the mainboard, recently bought it in US and opened my Tascam to install it, this one: Tascam DM4800/DM3200 Main Board-TEAC E902855-00B PCB MAIN DM48 from ebay, but it recognizes it as if it were a DM3200 and it is supposed to be a DM4800, so my question is: Is there any way to get the mainboard to recognize my Tascam DM4800 properly? Thanks!
Sorry, I lost all my DM 4800 files and IFFw mk II card. You can make me kind to send the latest updated (firmware, drive etc.) Early thank you.

Hey Charlie, out of curiosity, when you put 2 DM-3200's together, does it really double the ins and outs? I am looking at getting an DM4800 but they are becoming scarce and I have reservations about buying a discontinued but I really only want to have 4 slots for AES and Analog cards. IS that how it works? If I get another DM3200 will I have access to all 4 slots from both of them?I'll buy that fw mkii!

My drum micing technique is getting better by the weekend! Still have a little ways to go before I'm 99% happy.
I just bought my first acoustic drum kit and am obsessing with getting it to sound as good as Superior Drummer. How ironic is that!? -
