2488 NEO Stops Recording

I recently purchased a 2488 neo and while recording 7 simultaneous tracks it freezes after about 2 minutes. It records fine with nothing in the inputs. I have reformatted the hard drive and set to factory settings. It worked good for one song but then we tried to record another and it froze. I am wondering if I should replace the hard drive. Any advice?
