I would pay $50 if you can come over and help me figure out the issue with my Tascam DM 4800. I bought it used for cheap so it doesn't suprise me there are issues with it. The console says "no card" even though the firewire card is connected (I've tried both slot 1 and 3) and the console also says "no cable" (even though it is connected to a functional firewire cable).
My assumption is that I need to get a new firewire card but if there happened to be anyone in the area that could take a look to confirm it would be really appreciated!
