Bought some Tascam monitors and they came with a TS to RCA cable. So I can't even use their own cable with the DP-32. One would think they would make compatible peripherals.

I did not realize that this question had been asked and answered a few years ago. However, I don't think it is wise to short the low side output of an amplifier to ground, which is what you do if you use an unbalanced plug in a balanced output.
The block diagram certainly shows an unbalanced jack, but the safe thing to do is to cut the ends off and replace them with TRS plugs, only using the tip and sleeve, leaving the low side floating.
