I recently implemented an idea which came about from having clients wanting to play something from their phone or iPad. I hooked up this little unit to my 2-track inputs and now anyone can stream audio to my DM3200.

For over a year now I've been using something similar but a bit more high end that has a great spec DAC as well as S/PDIF optical output. I take it with me when I do live FOH sound gigs, and use it to record any streaming audio via S/PDIF like commercial free uninerupted music from sources such iTunes, Internet radio and cable TV.
