Cubas: Link a VST instrument to an audio channel on my DM 4800

Hi everyone
I've got a small detail
I want to link a VST instrument to an audio channel on my DM 4800, using using an audio channel on my IF-FW/DMmkII

I found a movie on youtube how you can create an audio channel for a VST instrument, create a group and set a link

When I try to link a VST instrument to a channel on my FW card, there's no sound

Example :

VST audio channel Outpu > Mono Out 23
Audio track > Input: Mono In 23 and Output: Stereo out

What am I Missing?

Do you see the output meter in Cubase move? Do you see the input meter on the DM channel move? If this is only with VST Instruments and not with other audio from Cubase your problem is probably in the software routing somehow.. I use VSTis often enough, should be no problem.

There's no problem with my Groovebox signal
All maters that shoud move are moving
And indeed it's only with the VST instruments

Any ideas how i can solve it?

If all meters move that should move, you get audio in the DM, but need to push the 'stereo' button in the DM's output assign section.
