Cubase 'mastering' thru the DM4800

Hi guy's,
It is probably asked before but I could not file a post.
What is the smartest/simpled routing when I want to playback my tracks in Cubase thru the Dm4800 (firewire) and record these or the final Stereomix back in Cubase.

You could use some Aux sends and connect them physically back into line-ins on the DM.

Or you simply assign the stereo DM-mix to, say, channel 31-32 output of the IF-FW and select that as the stereo input of Cubase.

I have these channels always reserved to Wavelab, so Wavelab playback is 31-32 and recording stereo from the DM into Wavelab is also 31-32.
