DM4800 controlling plugins

I am using Cubase 5 and pro tools 10 is there anyway to set the Dm4800 up to control your plugins in cubase or pro tools, when using it in the remote mode, I use the one the one set up for cubase but it will not control plugins, or is there any other controller that you can use along with the DM4800 to control the plugins while using the Dm to control other functions

I think I found what I needed, it is a plugin controller, novation nocturn it suppose to work along side the dm, I will let you know how it works
